It’s that time of the year when we dream of all the places we will go and start planning our New Year adventures. To get you inspired, take a look at 20 amazing trails for your walking bucket list in 2020, including some all-time favorites, as well as a few new and exciting destinations offered by Caminoways.com.
CAMINO ESPIRITUAL WALK & BOAT
The Camino Espiritual or Sea of Arousa Camino takes walkers on an 8-night, guided trip through dazzling coastal landscapes, villages and ancient monasteries from charming Pontevedra to Padrón in the Rías Baixas of Galicia, following an alternative route to the classic Camino Portugués. This fascinating Camino route, also known as Translatio, follows the trail taken by the body of St James on its way to Santiago. Walkers will cross Arousa Bay by boat.
LE PUY CAMINO
It takes a month to complete the full route from Le Puy en Velay to St Jean Pied de Port, where walkers can join the Camino Francés and continue on to Santiago de Compostela, but you can walk a section in France over a few days. This 10-night trip covers the section from Le Puy en Velay to Conques, taking in the rugged landscapes of the Aubrac Plateau and the picturesque vilalges along the Lot Valley before reaching magical Conques.
PILGRIM IN TUSCANY
Walking from the hilltop town of San Miniato to stunning Siena, you are following in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims who took the Via Francigena trail on their way to Rome. This epic route starts in Canterbury and crosses most of Europe, but if you only have one week, this easy stretch across Tuscany is one of the most beautiful and historic areas of the full trail. On this 6-night self-guided hike, admire the ancient towers of San Gimignano and walled village of Monteriggioni, as well as the postcard views of the Tuscan rolling countryside.
TENERIFE TRAILS
The Canary Islands provide fantastic walking all year round, but particularly in the winter months. Camino’s newly launched website CanariaWays.com features some wonderful hiking trails in the islands and one of the most popular is the 7-night self-guided “Volcanic Landscapes of Tenerife”, which is suitable for walkers of all levels and includes walking trails in Mount Teide National Park, Santiago del Teide and the coastal trails near the coastal town of Garachico.
KERRY CAMINO
The Kerry Camino walking trail, a 4-night self-guided tour, in the Dingle Peninsula has historic links to the Camino de Santiago, since many Irish pilgrims used to take the boat to Northern Spain from Dingle Harbour. This trail from Tralee to Dingle has been lovingly managed and looked after by local volunteer, and there is a pilgrim passport for the trail that you can stamp along the route that will grant you a certificate in St James Church in Dingle. In addition, showing your Kerry Camino certificate at St James Church Dublin, you will be able to receive your ‘Irish Compostela’ and travel to Galicia to continue your Camino trip from A Coruña along what is called the Celtic Camino.

We did conduct operations persistently to make sure that our foreign adversaries couldn’t utilize infrastructure to impact us,” said Nakasone. “We understood how
foreign adversaries utilize infrastructure throughout the world.
“We were doing operations well before the midterms began, and we were doing operations likely on the day of the midterms.” And they continued until the elections were certified, he said.
Elegantly probing the mechanics of exploitation, Schneier makes a persuasive
case that “we need society’s rules and laws to be as patchable as your computer.” With
lessons that extend far beyond the tech world, this has much to offer.
Legal loopholes constitute another form of hacking, Schneier suggests, discussing how
the inability of tribal courts to try non-Native individuals
means that many sexual assaults of Native American women go unprosecuted because they were committed by non-Native American men. By fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, we can empower individuals to make informed decisions and avoid scams.
